Personal Branding Photoshoot for Étèyéwa Adivignon
In this branding photoshoot, I had a tall, charismatic, graceful and strong woman who agreed to have her portrait taken because she had features that reminded me of Jamaican Grace Jones. When I met her, we instantly connected. She told me she was an abstract artist changing her career as a fashion designer and stylist. What a great experience having a moment to capture Étèyéwa (and by the way, she was 4 months pregnant) during the photoshoot.
Sometimes we have to remind people that as a photographer, we have the power to reawaken them of who they are and where they came from. They need to be heard, so their stories and photos can be shared with others.
We showcased not only her stunning features but also her clothing she designed and her wedding dress she made.
