RCF07 U15 R2 vs Montélimar | 11-0

A Dominant Performance for our team RCF07 U15 Regional 2. This past weekend on home grounds, they delivered one of their strongest performances of the season with an impressive 11–0 win against Montélimar. From the beginning, our team were playing strong with many passes and attempted goals. The team moved with purpose, communicated well, and executed their plays with confidence. Every pass, every run, every decision felt intentional.

What stood out the most for me was the collective effort. This wasn’t an individual performance—it was truly a team performance. They trusted each other, supported each other, and played with a rhythm that made the game both effective and enjoyable to watch.

On a personal note, I couldn’t have been prouder to see Nakoa contribute with 2 goals and 1 assist. Moments like that are always special as a parent—watching the hard work translate onto the field. What a journey it has been and being present more consistently this season has given me a deeper appreciation—not just of his growth, but of the team as a whole.

Over the past two years, Nakoa has been playing with players older than him. That kind of challenge isn’t easy—it demands more, pushes limits, and forces growth. And I’ve seen how much it has shaped him. It’s helped him become stronger, more determined, and more focused. Behind his growth are people who believes in him. I’m deeply thankful for the coaches from Saint Marcel and returning to RCF07 with ‘real coaches’. They’ve played an important role in his development—not just as a player, but in his mindset and confidence. That kind of guidance matters more than anything.

With three games left, the path is clear. Just one more win could crown them champions for U15. And honestly, if they continue to play like this, they’ve already proven what they’re capable of and going into Regional 1 for the next season.

Next week, they’ll be playing away at Mours. Unfortunately, I won’t be there, as I’ll be in Chaponost supporting Milana and her twirling team. It’s not easy missing a game, especially at such an important moment in the season—but being a parent also means being present in all of your children’s passions.

I’ll be there in spirit, cheering Nakoa and his team on. Because after a performance like this, you just know—they’re ready on Match Day.
